VOLUNTEER

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Join our team of dedicated volunteers to support our programming, community outreach, and special projects! We need help with walking community dogs back and forth across the prison campus for boarding and grooming appointments, taking service dogs in training or Paroled Pets into the community for socialization and outings, providing class instruction, planning special events, and joining PPP's Speaker's Bureau.

BECOME A PUPPY RAISER
PPP puppy raisers support programming by providing service dogs in training socialization experience prior to placement with their handlers. This training includes learning how to live appropriately in a home environment and training to accompany their handler in elevators, restaurants, doctor’s offices, grocery stores, vehicles, and other public facilities. PPP is different than a lot of other service dog organizations in that we don't require a long-term commitment from Puppy Raisers. PPP Long-Term Puppy Raisers only have puppies in their home for a maximum of 6 to 8 months and PPP needs Puppy Raisers that can puppy raise in the short-term for just a weekend!

INTERN FOR PPP
